Since it’s the first time for both of us to live in this city, we decided to do something to remember the very first days. Helsinki is a place of tremendous inspiration for us and we’ve been taking photos of things and places that inspire us here the most. The blog will be updated daily through August.

Our two-year long journey wasn’t exactly paved with rose pedals. In the beginning we hardly knew anyone, didn’t have any previous experience what it’s like to run a business and were basically as wet behind the ears as they get.

When we decided to let Ikimono slowly fade away, I immediately knew what I was going to do. My passion of being an entrepreneur — and even successful at it — hadn’t gone anywhere.

As I’m starting my own business — the second time around — it feels a whole lot easier than before. Sure, my ears might still be soaking, but this time I feel like I have a much better understanding of where I’m going to.

This time around it feels good.
